What brought you to this business?
I had worked for over 10 years in general practice and did lots of work with a GP specializing in skin conditions so developed a general interest in dermal therapies. I have a strong clinical background in women's health and starting a business offering medical-grade skin treatments just seemed like a natural extension I could bring to our existing family health practice.

What do you love most about your business and what drives you?
Hands down my favorite thing about the business is meeting the clients and finding out their stories and how I can help them to meet their needs. It’s extremely rewarding to use the knowledge and skills you've gained over time to help people on their journey.
Like most parents, what drives me is my family and this job allows me the flexibility of hours to suit those needs, as well as that work challenges me professionally. It's also a role that fits well with the work I continue to do in general practice.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
With three children my interests are mostly centered around what they're up to, which varies from an open mike night for the teenager or junior ninja warrior and ballet for the twins. I do love cooking, especially from the old family recipe book going back a few generations. That and reading. I have a genuine love of learning for me it’s like travel for my brain!

And in that precious spare time?
I love to travel and have adventures big or small with my family, so whether it’s a picnic dinner at the river or a trip to Fiji they're all magic and what life is really all about. I've had as much fun with a movie and sleepover on the living room floor as I've had with a five-star experience. It's not in the destination but whom you share the experience with.
